Tommy Treadwell joined the Foundation in 2022 as its Chief Legal and Administrative Officer. In this role, he oversees all trust administration tasks of the Foundation and advises on legal and regulatory issues affecting the Foundation’s operation. He previously served as General Counsel and Compliance Officer for Hyundai Mobis Alabama, LLC. Prior to Mobis, he spent eight years as Assistant General Counsel for Alfa Insurance Companies and also served as Corporate Counsel for Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, LLC. He began his career with Rushton, Stakely, Johnston, & Garrett, P.A. Tommy received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and his undergraduate degree from Samford. He has studied in the Master of Divinity program at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and in the biblical counseling program at Birmingham Theological Seminary. He is husband to Kelly and father to Thomas, Samuel, and James. The family attends First Baptist Church in Montgomery where Tommy serves as a deacon and Sunday School and Bible study teacher. Tommy has authored studies and frequently teaches on topics related to marriage and the family. He has also served as a guest speaker for the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions at state and regional Sunday School Leadership conferences. He and Kelly, who is an on-air personality for Montgomery-based Faith Radio, have led marriage conferences and spoken at other marriage-related events.
