TBFA Holds Legacy Conversation Workshop in Birmingham
Birmingham, Alabama — On April 19, 2016, The Baptist Foundation of Alabama (TBFA) hosted a Legacy Conversation Workshop at Hunter Street Baptist Church. Church leaders in attendance heard from TBFA staff about the ways an effective legacy ministry can serve church members by providing them an estate plan that honors their family and their faith.
Representatives from the following churches were in attendance:
Hunter Street Baptist Church
Lakeside Baptist Church
Pell City Baptist Church
Vestavia Hills Baptist Church
Barry Bledsoe, President of TBFA, gave an overview of the Foundation and the components of an effective legacy ministry. A video testimony by Dr. Jay Wolf, Senior Pastor at Montgomery’s First Baptist Church, was also shared. This video, along with others, can be viewed here: https://vimeo.com/tbfa/videos.
“At The Baptist Foundation of Alabama, we are passionate about equipping churches to serve their members with an effective Legacy ministry. We would like to thank the representatives from these churches for attending this successful event.” said Barry Bledsoe.
